2021 - Anhedonia
Statement: "Anhedonia" is a son of these epidemic times of reclusion and introspection, of failure and disillusion, of generalised psychosis and social malady. Eleven songs trying to give voice - in very different ways - to uncountable shades of melancholy and loss. Recurring themes: dying hopes, loss of strength, de-saturating colours, ineptitude and final farewells.
It all sounds very promising, right?

2020 - Symbolon
Statement: My second album is a concept album on the search for balance between people, developed during the last 7 years (2013-2020). It is in some way autobiographical but mostly self-therapeutic, in a way that transcends biography. In ancient greek σύμβολον (symbolon) stands for an object split into two halves that were given to brothers separated at birth, so that they would be able to recognize each other when meeting again. A symbolon can put together things, but can never erase the hiatus between the two halves, never bring back things to their original wholeness. This is an album about keeping wish alive by living the intensity of the energy stored in that hiatus through an existence craving for a wholeness never to be found in perfect unity.

Statement: My first homemade full length album, recorded with spartan instrumentation during my high-school years and released under the nick "Mattone". Dreams recur as a theme throughout the album, but it is hard to link all the different songs to a common theme, as the album represents several parts of a teen personality striving for recognition and the final synthesis of itself. The interludes named 'Maicurokorughicsyell' are electronic demos I made using the synth named Microkorg XL: the title mocks the Japanese pronunciation.

2011 - Free Madness (Demos & Unreleased Tracks from Paleozoic)
Statement: This is not even an official release, but still an interesting document of what was going on during the Disappear sessions. Most of the songs from that album came from jam sessions and experimentations which lead to a lot of other ideas that were never really explored further. As I found this archive, ten years later, I decided to release it for the sake of completion. An act of acceptance of a past in which I was very different, as were my musical ideas and interests represented in these demos. The artwork and title also come from that era, since Free Madness was the original title of Disappear, later changed due to the inspiration provided by the new original artwork. The tracklist also changed completely, in case you were wondering. I also collected here the missing and long-lost parts of 'Maicurokorughicsyell'.
